Don't worry; people traveling from the EU to the UK are still allowed to bring in cigarettes for themselves without paying UK duty. However, they should be for personal use only, as it is illegal to sell cigarettes brought in from outside the UK (known as 'bootlegging'). Frequent travellers who regularly bring back large quantities of cigarettes and tobacco will arouse suspicion.
